Looking at CD Covers

I like the choice of the heavy, wide black font which balances the black figure on this cd cover.  I also like the placement of the small text which is aligned with the larger letters.  Even though the words are tiny, their placement makes them prominent and gives them emphasis.
This cd cover shares some characteristics with the first one above.  It has a simple title at the top which balances the figure below. With the medium blue background color choice, this cd cover design was able to use both black and white text effectively.
This font, when viewed closely, has an almost liquid look to it, as if it was stamped onto the cd cover with paint.
I like the vintage style of this cd cover design which was achieved by combining actual wood type printed on a letterpress and then arranged on the computer.
